Michelle has taught me so much on how to learn to control and strengthen my body. I would never have dreamed of how much more I can control my movements and focus on parts of my body that needed improvement. She is so amazing and very dedicated. She is also so kind and has a lot of experience to share. I was so lucky to find her three years ago. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing teacher.

Mother of Two

I began weekly Pilates sessions with Michelle after the birth of my second child. A C- section made picking her up incredibly painful. After 8 sessions with Michelle, I felt very different. After 20, I looked different. Michelle is knowledgeable and encouraging, using just the right exercise to keep me moving forward. After six months I feel I’m just as strong as the boot camp folks but without all the shouting. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is very intuitive and she knows human bodies. The workout space is very homey and working with her is fun and challenging. She quickly communicates how to get more strength and enjoyment from my Pilates practice. After a session I feel put back together and more in touch with parts of my body I seldom use. I use a walker so I carry a lot of tightness in my neck and shoulders. Michelle helps me release, keep my balance, and even jump!

I have been a student in the Parkinson's Dance class. Pilates was the next step in keeping my body flexible and strong. She truly plans every Pilates session and I can do things that I couldn't do a year ago- for example I can rotate my ankles again. She is caring and we learn things from each other ( me- every muscle in my body gets a workout and she gets an education about PD).

I ruptured my left Achilles tendon over a year ago. Michelle helped me to rehab from the surgery with Pilates. The problem really compounded a year after the operation with compensatory pain. Compensatory pain is caused by shifting my posture during my Achilles rehab to favor one leg. The out of balance and alignment posture caused lower back pain that wouldn't respond to anything.

It was getting worse despite my daily yoga, workout, physical therapy, chiropractor, acupuncture, losing 15 pounds, PRP and stem cell therapy.

Once again Michelle came to the rescue with Pilates. She has a knowledge of human anatomy and physiology that most Pilates teachers that I have experienced don't seem to have. Using just the right exercises she addressed specifically the compensatory pain and not merely the original injury.

It took a while but now I am pretty much back to normal. The pain is almost gone and my posture had improved greatly.
